 St. Croix Othopaedics (SCO) (www.stcroixortho.com)

Over twenty years in existence, SCO is a state-of-the-art orthopaedic institution that has been extremely dedicated to our sports medicine fellowship program since our program’s inception.  Not only has this institution provided solid orthopaedic teaching for our fellows over the years, but SCO provides financial support for our fellows’ continuing medical education experiences.

Curriculum Overview

In consultation with the orthopaedic surgeon, fellows examine acute and chronic injuries and develop a plan for diagnostic testing, treatment and rehabilitation.  SCO surgeons provide care for Minnesota’s Minor League Professional Baseball team.  Fellows participate in providing exams for these athletes as well as providing coverage at games.

Fellows may scrub in as first assistant in surgery if they wish.

Fellows participate in didactics by providing a lecture for this Institution's Ground Rounds.  SCO serves as the site for Journal Club.
