Curriculum Overview With general orthopaedic surgeons as well as those orthopedists with specialzed training in fooot/ankle and hand, the fellows examine acute and chronic injuries and develop a plan for diagnostic testing, treatment and rehabilitation.
TRIA is also the site for Rob Johnson's private sports medicine clinic. Fellows rotate one-on-one with the fellowship director in this clinic.
Fellows also manage musculoskeletal injuries and complaints with another sports medicine fellowship trained, primary care physician in this clinic, which offers fracture-care experience.
TRIA’s role also involves didactic instruction provided one half day per week in conferences related to a variety of sports medicine topics. Fellows attend these conferences and also present their own lectures to a multidisciplinary group at this site.
TRIA presents an annual fall sports medicine conference.
